The Evers Farm
The farm includes a beautiful farmhouse in excellent condition with a large screened wrap-around porch and four large rooms that could be used for exhibits, educational presentations, and meetings. This historic house was the country home of one of our town's founding families beginning in the early 1900s.

Behind the house is a large, flat, sunny area that could house many garden plots. This are could feature both demonstration and community gardens.

There is also a windmill and large water tower that could be repurposed to collect rainwater for the garden, as well as a barn that could be used to house supplies and seedlings.
Vision
A historically significant gathering place with public events, cultural exhibits, demonstration gardens, and educational opportunities. Our goal is to promote knowledge of our community's cultural and agrarian past.

If you share our vision, please be sure to sign the petition and let city council know!
